ZOE
Zoe a 7 year old Westie had the worst case of Malassezia Dermatitis we had ever seen. Unfortunately her owner could not afford her vet bills so decided to re-home her. Zoe is now in a permanent foster home and her vet bills are numerous. She is such a little sweetheart and her foster carers love her to bits. She has started playing and is proving to be a very intelligent little girl. When her skin has improved and the chance of infection is less we will have her neutered. Watch this space to see how Zoe improves.
If you would like to donate to help with Zoe's on going treatment please click on the PayPal button above and we are sure Zoe will be very greatful. Thank you.

UPDATE ON ZOE.
Just look at me now! Do I look happy or what? As you can see Zoë is so much better now than when she first arrived in our care. She has undergone emergency neutering because of an open Pyometra infection and is still on long term medication for her skin infection, but I think you will all agree she is in very safe hands.

REMEMBER SAM- (SEE NEWS LINK-SAM'S STORY)
Unfortunately, circumstances have changed and everyone in the family were devastated to make the decision to ask me to find Sam a new home. I was mortified to get this news as I knew how much Sam loved his family but the Angels were on Sam's side and, as you can see from this photograph, Sam is enjoying life to the full - Sam's adventures continue he went to Coniston last week and enjoyed, sharing in his owners passion, riding on the front of a canoe. Could be a Disney Film in the making!!!! - Any offers from budding directors please feel free to contact us. x

This wonderful photograph was sent to us by Kate, Jingo's new mum. Kate said: Jingo is definitely staying, we love him! He met my mum's Border collie, Becky, yesterday and they got on fine as long as we had two balls at all times. Taking him to training class on 20th although he can sit, lie down, shake a paw and leave, so I think he will be top of his class!

DARCY NOW XANTHE
This is a new picture of Darcy, now Xanthe (pronounced Zanti) meaning Beautiful Maiden & Golden Hair. A very apt description.
Becky (featured in the photograph) says: Taking her out is a real pleasure as she discovers new things. Five horses, all various sizes on a narrow track (she was so good) and the beach!!!! Our thanks to you all again and I can't tell you how happy we are to have this beautiful big girl come into our family.
Our grateful thanks to Becky and her family for giving Xanthe a wonderful home. x

CRYSTAL
Crystal has settled in extremely well and loves lots of attention and cuddles. She loves playing with all her toys too. Crystal and my other cat Tux have started to play now and their favourite game is to see who can sprint through the downstairs then upstairs and back again; it is funny to watch! She still doesn't sleep on the bed yet as her favourite place is in her own bed on the windowsill as you can see from the photo. Thank you very much for letting me home Crystal as she is my little princess. Samantha

FELIX AND CHLOE
Thankfully we have now placed Felix and Chloe after Felix had to have a massive operation on both his eyes. Felix was very uncomfortable and unable to see but we are happy to say that he is much improved. Despite his disability Felix, like his sister, is very sweet and affectionate.

ERIC AND TIGER
Hi Kathy, Eric has settled in really well now and is getting more confident and cheeky by the day. He has now discovered all the windowsills and has even caught his first fly! We bought him lots of little toys but he seems to like a cardboard box and a toilet roll tube the best. Thanks again for your help, we can't imagine life without Eric now.

No folks we haven't started re-homing Lamas but this delightful photograph was sent in by one of our supporters who has adopted three of our cats. Charlie Farley, Florie, and most recently, in June, Tipsy (now Betty). They have also rescued Lamas, Alpaca & sheep. This cheeky chap is Biggles having a good look round their living room. Oh by the way, Biggles has his own luxury home with his pals, he was just checking out where the cats & dog live!

MOLLY B
Molly, an epileptic Border Collie, was put in a boarding kennel when her owner was taken into hospital but tragically the owner died and Molly's fate lay in the balance. Pet Rehome was contacted for help and luckily for Molly there was a guardian angel watching over her.
Laura came forward and offered her a forever home and we are happy to say that Molly is enjoying every minute of her new life. She has two other dog companions and feline friends too. She has never stopped wagging her tail since she arrived at Laura's home. They are over the moon with the way Molly has settled in.

TAZ 12 MTHS ON...
Hi Kathleen, Sending some pics of Taz as it's a year since I adopted him. Not to forget my gorgeous Tumble whom I lost nine months ago but who brought me so much happiness in the three months I knew him. I can't believe its only been a year as it feels like I have had Taz all his life. He is a completely different dog to the one he was a year ago. He is cheeky and loves his walks. He is now socialising with other dogs so when we go out and he's off lead he will actually run with other dogs, something he was terrified to do when I got him. I found he loves the beach and jumps around like a puppy. He has just had a check up at the vets and they said everythings fine. He's had a few problems with his eyes and anal glands but touch wood apart from that he is in good health. He's NOT HAD ANY epileptic fits for the last 5 months which is brilliant. He's made a huge impact on my life and the life of my parents (who love him like he's their grandchild) and for that we have you and Pet Rehome to thank for running such a wonderful rescue for animals. Without you I would never have found Taz and Tumble and you should be proud that you give animals a second chance at happiness with their new famlies. So I would like to say a uge thank you to you for letting me have the honour of adopting and for all the pleasures both Taz and Tumble have brought to my life. Thank you again. Viv.

GROMIT
This sweetie certainly fell on his little paws when Lisa, our website designer, decided to take him home. Lisa said, "Gromit has fitted in so well with all the family and, most importantly, our older cat, Pickles. Gromit purrs a lot and at 7am this morning he was sitting on my head wanting to play ". Awwww! Thank you Lisa for giving Gromit a super home. X

BLOSSOM (HONEY) & BELLA (MISTY)
Hi Kathy, Thought I'd drop you a line and send some piccies. The two are absolutely adorable and are having great fun together. I have never had two kittens together and they are keeping us entertained. Best thing we ever did was to have two. We have renamed them after their characters. Blossom became "Honey" as she is so sweet. Whilst Bella became "Misty" because she is incredibly mischievous. They have come on in leaps in the last week and have made the house their own. Richard made them a cat activity centre last weekend and they think it's great fun to jump, climb and sleep in. Thank you so much for letting us have them and they have transformed our lives again and are very much loved.

POPPY AND SHANNON
Poppy and Shannon have really settled in well and are wonderful cats. They've started to venture outside and are exploring the area (and the other cats!). The girls adore them and they are very spoiled. They do seem a bit camera shy.
We absolutely love this photograph sent in by P & S new owners. "Anticipation of when we can go out and explore".

ALFIE AND RUBY
My darling Alfie and Ruby settled in within no time. Alongside my other rescue cat, Billy, they are the loves of my life. Each has their own personality but all get on great, being from the same litter. Alfie and Ruby are especially close. The three, I must confess, are spoilt rotten with Hill's Science dry food, Iam's kitten wet food and roast chicken. Like me they only get one life! My heartfelt thanks to Kathy and her wider team for such brilliant work - the best pet rescue I could ever hope to have been introduced to. You are magnificent.
