Please help us to help them.

If an animal comes into our care it is checked and receives any veterinary treatment it may require.  Our foster carers will assess it so that prospective adopters can be given a true picture of the animal’s behaviour whilst it has been in our care.
We always visit prospective adopters in their own homes (in every case). If they wish to proceed with adoption, after being given details and seeing photographs, they are invited to view the animal usually at the foster home or in some cases at their existing home.
If all goes well and they choose a pet we will then complete our Agreement Form and the pet can be collected to start its new and happy life.

After adoption we are always available for help and advice and if, for any reason, things do not work out we will always take the pet back into our care as soon as we have available space.
Whilst we mostly re-home dogs and cats we have rescued many other types of animals and birds (aviary and wild) If we cannot accommodate them ourselves, or find homes for them, we make sure they are taken to rescues which we KNOW and TRUST.
