We adopted Amber last weekend or rather she chose us as all our cats seem to have done. It seems to work best that way. Anyway, she is settling in very well with our other two cats and we love her to bits. I'm really glad I looked at the Petrehome website because it moved me to actually send the enquiry email in the first place. The Petrehome organisation does wonderful work and the homecheck was done in two days. Many thanks to you all, especially Marie and Carol who gave their time and patiently showed us all the cats in their care. We would certainly rehome another animal from you in the future.

Big thanks to Pet Rehome for helping us find Inka and Hercules. We had a big hole in our lives when our darling boy cat was killed and a loving home to offer. We now have two affectionate, very naughty Bengals in our lives, who we love and who reward us with cuddles and lots of purrs. We were given lots of help and support and now follow the work of the charity with interest. Kathy is an amazing person who genuinely cares about the animals in her care.

Just wanted to thank all of the team members at pet rehome for giving us our new little boy Ollie. He has a special sparkle in his eye, loves, cuddles smuggles and kisses, biting feet and clawing my leather sofa! He is spoiled rotten and loves playing chasing games, mousie flick, climbing the curtains, side way pouncy and dive on the other cats. What more could you ask! What a fantastic team you all are!

Paul and I adopted "Megan" recently after the death of our beloved tom cat, Kilmowski. We missed having him around so much and realised the best thing we could do to honour his memory was to save another little pusscat who had no home. That's when we found "Megan" at Pet Rehome. Megan is now called MissPusskin (on formal occasions, lol) but at home we call her Missimu. We are absolutely delighted with her - she has settled in extremely well and within 3 minutes of her landing on our doorstep, she had us twisted around her little paw. She's spoilt rotten and loves it... and we love her to bits! We have to thank Pet Rehome for such a wonderful service. A personal thanks to Kathy for her wonderful support, and to Mary, who looked after Megan before we adopted her. Thanks Pet Rehome, you do an amazing job! xx

Fleetwood Mac (formerly) Marmalade and Lucy Locket have settled in beautifully. They soon met our 10 year dor,Gus, and got on very well, helping themselves to his bed and biscuits. Lucy and Mac are confident to sit on a knee to be stroked and purr happily. They were as good as gold having their first injections this week.

Hi there! I rehomed a cat (Clara -- called "Lady" in her former existence!) almost a year ago. After hesitating to get another cat after my previous cat died, I was put in contact with one of your very kind volunteers (Linda) in Bolton by a mutual friend ... and that's how Clara and I now come to be together. Both our lives are the richer for it! Many thanks and Congrats on all your selfless work. Jill & Clara

As a Petrehome fosterer of cats and kittens it is always so rewarding to see them going to loving homes, especially if they have had a bad start in life or have been abandoned and left to fend for themselves. It's hard work and can be very emotional, but Kathy gives all the support you will ever need and maintains the high standards of care that these animals deserve. One personal plea is that when you are choosing a cat please don't forget the older ones. Kittens are cute and ideal for some homes but they can be hard work believe me!! Dodgy tummies, running up legs and curtains, tearing around at top speed, not to mention flicking any thing they can find around on a wooden floor in the middle of the night. Older cats have gone through all of that and they are more streetwise when it comes to letting them out, thus reducing the worry of them being involved in RTAs or other scrapes a kitten might get into. Whichever you choose , if you invest in their care and welfare the you won't be disappointed and they will become a much loved part of your family .
